Background

Land and Sea Development Services (Pty) Ltd was established in 2009 in an effort to provide bodies corporate and homeowners associations with a fully comprehensive professional property management service.

The company name of Land and Sea first originated in 1991 when Land and Sea Projects (Pty) Ltd was established. This was the vehicle through which Phil Calothi project managed the design and construction of the Club Mykonos resort from conception in 1987. It became apparent to Phil Calothi that the managing agent industry was generally providing an inadequate service to its clients and therefore decided to start a new property management company of his own with the vision to provide a professional managing agent service and to help guide members and trustees of private estates and sectional title schemes. Land and Sea Development Services (Pty) Ltd eventually commenced trading in March 2009.

Since 2009 Land and Sea Development Services has grown substantially and is now managing over R30 million in client funds per annum. Land and Sea is a member of the National Association of Managing Agents (NAMA) and the Estate Agents Affairs Board (EAAB) and holds a current Fidelity Fund Certificate with the EAAB.
